The crawler full hydraulic core drilling rig is the main equipment for photovoltaic power stations in mountainous, Gobi and complex terrains. Equipped with a crawler chassis, high-torque spiral drill, it enables stable construction across all terrains. Chassis: Equipped with 300–400 mm wide heavy-duty steel crawler tracks, featuring low ground pressure and a climbing capacity of 15–25°. It never gets stuck in muddy, Gobi or mountainous areas. Two types are available: standard crawler (3–4 tons) and widened & lengthened crawler (4–6 tons, for steep slopes and soft foundations).


Power: Powered by 4-cylinder diesel engines (4105/6105, 110-125HP); 6-cylinder or turbocharged engines are optional for high-end models. The hydraulic system pressure ranges from 16 to 20 MPa, with a torque of 1.2–2.0 t·m, 30%–50% higher than that of four-wheel equipment.

Selection Guidelines

 

Geological Conditions: Standard models for ordinary soil; widened crawlers + hydraulic outriggers for mountainous and sloped areas; high-torque units + down-the-hole drills for hard rock and weathered rock.


Project Volume: High-end models for large-scale and long-term projects; standard models for small and short-term construction.


Transition Demand: Crawler type for centralized construction sites with less relocation; four-wheel type for scattered sites requiring frequent transition.

Weekly Maintenance

 

  • Fill grease at all key lubrication points, including boom pin shafts, slewing bearings, connecting rods, walking bearings and power head bearings to avoid abrasive wear.
  • Inspect the appearance of hydraulic and diesel filter elements, and clean them with air blowing if dirty.
  • Check the wear of crawler bolts, drive wheels, guide wheels and carrier rollers.
  • Tighten all connecting bolts of the frame, outriggers and cab.
  • Test the hydraulic outriggers, rotating and traveling functions to eliminate stalling and abnormal noise.

 

Scheduled Mandatory Maintenance (By Working Hours)

 

Engine Maintenance
New machine running-in period: Replace engine oil and oil filter after 20 working hours for the first maintenance.
Replace engine oil and oil filter every 50 hours.
Replace diesel filter and air filter every 100 hours.
Replace antifreeze and check belt tension every 200 hours.


Hydraulic System (Core Parts)
First replacement of hydraulic oil and hydraulic filter after 100 working hours for new equipment.
Replace hydraulic oil and return oil filter every 300–500 hours in regular use.
Drain sediment and water at the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank monthly.


Crawler Travel System
Inspect the gear oil of travel reducers and replenish oil in time every 200 hours.
Replace travel reducer gear oil every 500 hours.
Regularly clean sediment on crawler tension cylinders to prevent rust and jamming.

 

Special Maintenance for Key Components

1. Power Head (Core for Screw Pile Driving)

Never operate without sufficient gear oil to prevent dry friction.
Regularly check gear oil level, and apply grease to drill rod connections and square joints frequently.
Operate at a low speed when encountering hard stones to prevent gear damage and spline wear.

2. Hydraulic Breaker (For Pile Driving)

Fill special breaker grease every day.
Avoid idle striking and long-time empty impact.
Regularly detect nitrogen pressure to ensure striking force.
