With the large-scale upgrading of China's photovoltaic industry, flatland photovoltaic resources have become increasingly saturated. Mountain photovoltaics, forest-photovoltaic complementary projects, agriculture-photovoltaic complementary projects, and wasteland slope photovoltaics have become the core incremental tracks for new energy development. However, the construction environment in mountainous areas is complex and variable. Traditional wheeled pile drivers, small handheld drilling rigs and split drilling equipment have fatal shortcomings: poor climbing ability, prone to slipping and overturning, inaccessible to narrow terrains, ineffective construction on hard rock strata, low piling accuracy, high rework rates, and the need for large-scale renovation of construction access roads, which greatly increases the earthwork cost and construction period cost of projects.
Targeting various industry pain points in mountain photovoltaic construction, our company has independently developed a full-hydraulic multi-functional crawler mountain photovoltaic pile driver. Breaking the terrain, geological and efficiency limitations of traditional equipment, it integrates four functions: pile driving, drilling, hard rock pilot hole drilling and ground screw screwing. Customized for complex mountain working conditions, it serves as the core mainstay equipment for pile foundation construction of mountain photovoltaics, and is widely applicable to large and medium-sized centralized photovoltaic power stations, distributed rural photovoltaic projects and ecological complementary photovoltaic projects.
I. Product Overview
The crawler mountain photovoltaic pile driver is a fully hydraulic driven, crawler-mounted, modular multi-functional, high-precision intelligent special pile foundation construction equipment. Adopting an integrated design, it requires no split assembly or crane assistance. Equipped with a quickly switchable multi-functional tooling system, it is perfectly adaptable to all geological conditions including loess, clay, sandy soil, gravel layers, weathered rock, hard rock and frozen soil.
Fitted with an enhanced mountain-specific crawler chassis, matched with a hydraulic automatic leveling system and a 360° rotary operation platform, the equipment thoroughly solves the construction difficulties on steep slopes, narrow roads and soft slope surfaces.
II. Core Structure, Material and Craftsmanship
The whole machine adopts a high-strength manganese steel modular welded structure, with key components integrally cast to avoid welding cracking and deformation. Six core assemblies work coordinately to adapt to long-term operation under harsh field conditions:
1. Enhanced Mountain-Specific Crawler Travel Chassis
As the core component for mountain traversal, the chassis is equipped with widened and thickened steel tracks, with optional rubber track pads to achieve anti-slip & anti-sink performance and surface protection simultaneously. Track pin shafts adopt quenching and wear-resistant technology with excellent wear and impact resistance, greatly extending the service life. Featuring ultra-low ground pressure, the equipment effectively prevents sinking and slipping on muddy land, soft meadows and gravel slopes.
The chassis supports 360° full-range rotary operation, eliminating frequent whole-machine movement for multi-pile construction. With a machine width of ≤2.2m, it can flexibly pass through various complex terrains.
2. High-Performance Diesel Power System
Powered by first-class brand diesel engines including Yuchai, Changchai and Cummins, the power range covers 54kW to 97kW, with three configurations: standard version, high-end version and plateau version. The plateau version adopts exclusive calibration to adapt to high-altitude anoxic and low-temperature environments, supporting one-key cold start at -25℃ and solving the problems of difficult start-up and insufficient power of equipment in plateau areas.
The power system is equipped with multi-stage dust-proof air filters and fuel filter systems to effectively filter mountain dust and gravel impurities and protect core engine components. It adopts an intelligent idle speed control system, which automatically reduces speed under no-load conditions and instantly boosts power under load, cutting fuel consumption during long-term standby operation in mountainous areas. Featuring energy saving, durability and low failure rate, it supports 24-hour continuous construction.
3. Dual-Pump Confluence Full-Hydraulic System
Adopting industrial-grade dual-pump confluence hydraulic technology, the system has a rated working pressure of 20MPa, delivering high torque and strong impact force with stable and uniform power output without stalling or pressure loss. Core hydraulic components including valve groups, oil pumps and oil cylinders adopt well-known brand accessories, and the seals are made of high and low temperature resistant and wear-resistant materials, adapting to harsh mountain environments with large temperature differences, wind and sand, and rainwater to eliminate oil leakage and pressure relief failures.
The hydraulic system features micro-motion precise control with flexible operation, enabling novice operators to get started quickly. It supports dual operation modes: cab manual operation and wireless remote control, allowing remote operation on steep slopes and dangerous side slopes to avoid personal high-altitude operation risks.
4. Adjustable Multi-Functional Working Mast Assembly
The mast is made of high-strength thickened manganese steel with integral bending forming, featuring excellent deformation resistance and impact resistance. The maximum telescopic height reaches 7m, meeting the construction requirements of conventional photovoltaic pile foundations, and can be customized and extended to 10m. The mast supports left and right deflection adjustment of ±75° and front and rear inclination fine adjustment, ensuring accurate pile alignment and reducing alignment time without frequent machine movement.
Equipped with a quick-disassembly tooling interface, tooling replacement can be completed within 5 minutes without professional tools. It supports four construction modes: hydraulic pile hammering, spiral drilling, hard rock down-the-hole drilling and ground screw screwing, realizing genuine multi-functionality with one machine and replacing multiple single-function devices.
