Determine the mounting position for the drill stand (custom-made) based on the specific application and the intended drilling location. Attach the drive chain to the main unit, then mount the main unit onto the guide rail. Securely connect both ends of the chain to the guide rail, and adjust the chain tensioner to ensure the chain achieves the appropriate tension; finally, fasten the guide rail assembly to the drill stand.
Before commencing drilling, turn the handwheel to the neutral position and allow the machine to run under no-load conditions for five minutes. Once it has been verified that the motor insulation is sound, the rock drill is free of abnormal noises, and the direction of the spindle's rotation aligns with the directional arrow on the reducer, proceed to attach the drill bit and drill rod, and connect the water supply.
